Job summary

CCL Label Food and Beverage Sioux Falls is seeking a part-time Print Tool Tech for the Flexo department. The role supports printing operations, performs setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance, and ensures quality during wash and inspection steps.

Hours may include day, evening, or night shifts. A high school diploma and manufacturing experience are preferred; strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and SOPs.
• Able to troubleshoot problems and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Follows industry standards of removing material before washing.
• Inspects objects for damage before and after washing.
• Loads and unloads parts from washing unit as needed.
• Ensures proper use of equipment in the parts washing area.
• Maintains cleaning system including hoses and spray guns.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Follows industry standards of removing material before being placed in washing unit.
• Inspects object for any damage or defects before and after being placed in the washing unit.
• Loads and unloads parts from the washing unit as needed.
• Follows rules and guidelines to ensure proper use of equipment in the parts washing area.
• Maintains cleaning system including hoses and spray guns.
• Completes all other duties as requested by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Good mechanical aptitude and skills
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance instructions and manuals
• Ability to troubleshoot problems
• Willingness and ability to work with other team members and management
• Strong work ethic and good attitude towards work
• Honest, reliable team player
• Safety conscious and comply with all general safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, State and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• 6 months or more Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms above and below shoulder level
• Regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Regularly communicate in some manner either by speech/hearing or through written communication.
• Regularly use of vision abilities including close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Regularly work around moving machinery and heavy equipment.
• Frequently required to push/pull.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently exposed to high-speed moving mechanical parts.
• Frequently exposed to UV, strobing or flashing light.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes, dust or airborne particles.
• Regularly exposed to moderate noise level in the work environment.
