Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs in New Jersey is seeking a Part-Time Preschool Yoga & Gym Instructor to lead movement and mindfulness sessions for children aged 2.5 to 5 years. The role emphasizes energetic, patient, and creative instruction with a focus on safety and engagement.

The position offers a consistent morning schedule (9 am–12:30 pm) on a part-time basis, with compensation of $25.00–$35.00 per hour. CPR/First Aid certification is required; kids' yoga certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with children aged 2–5 in a group setting (preschool, daycare, camp).
• Exceptional patience, high energy, strong communication skills, and a playful teaching style.
• Availability for a consistent, part-time weekly schedule; mornings 9 am–12:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Lead classes: 30–45 minute sessions with gym games and yoga adventures.
• Develop motor skills through balancing, jumping, catching.
• Teach mindfulness with simple breathing and animal poses.
• Ensure safety by setting up spaces with age-appropriate mats and props.
• Manage behavior using positive reinforcement to keep classes organized and fun.
