Job summary

Soccer Stars is seeking energetic part-time coaches to lead youth soccer classes in the Antelope Valley area. You will teach, motivate, and engage children, helping them develop motor skills and a love of movement in a fun, structured environment.

Travel to class locations will be required, with on-site sessions and flexible scheduling. Prior experience with kids is required; soccer background is preferred. Compensation ranges from $19 to $23 per hour depending on experience.

• Prior experience working with children is required.
• Soccer playing background is preferred.
• Energetic, patient, professional, attentive, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Assist/teach an energetic and motivating class, connect and challenge each child, help them achieve motor development and skill goals and inspire a love of movement and healthy habits in a structured and FUN manner.
• Provide individual and group attention to children.
• Show up on time to class, physically and mentally prepared (includes commuting time).
• For ALL age groups, be at a level where the child needs you to be and make soccer FUN for them.
• May require you to be available for on-call shifts.

This Part-Time job offers a competitive starting hourly rate of $19-$23 per hour, (depending upon experience) & allows you the flexibility to set your own availability!

• Able & willing to travel throughout the Antelope Valley (and occasionally Edwards AFB) for class locations
• Prior experience working with childrenrequired
• Soccer playing backgroundpreferred
• Must be energetic, patient, professional, attentive, & punctual
• You aren't too shy to play and be silly and you are a natural entertainer
