Job summary

Celebree School of Leander at Crystal Falls is seeking a Part-Time Preschool Spanish Teacher to deliver developmentally appropriate Spanish experiences for preschoolers. Through songs, stories, games, and movement, you will introduce vocabulary and conversational skills while nurturing confidence and a love of learning.

You will create a warm, inclusive classroom, collaborate with teachers and leadership, and ensure a safe, organized environment that reflects Celebree's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Fluency or strong proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Experience teaching or working with preschool or early childhood-aged children preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
• Ability to create engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate Spanish lessons.
• Strong communication, organization, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
• Must meet all applicable Texas childcare licensing, background check, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons and activities for preschool-aged children.
• Introduce basic Spanish vocabulary, phrases, numbers, colors, greetings, and conversational language through play-based learning.
• Incorporate Spanish songs, music, movement, storytelling, games, and hands-on activities into lessons.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment where children feel comfortable participating and practicing a new language.
• Adapt lessons and activities to meet the developmental needs and learning styles of young children.
• Encourage language development through repetition, conversation, visual materials, and interactive experiences.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to incorporate Spanish learning into the preschool experience.
• Communicate positively and professionally with children, families, teachers, and school leadership.
