Think Academy US is seeking a part-time Preschool Assessment Assistant to conduct cognitive-skills assessments for children ages 3–5 in San Jose. This role offers hands-on experience while training and mentorship are provided by our education team.

Ideal for students or recent graduates in early childhood education or related fields. No prior assessment experience is required; training, playbooks, and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed through December 2026.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Genuine interest in working with children ages 3–5.
• Patient, caring, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Able to follow standardized assessment procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one or small-group cognitive-skills assessments for children ages 3–5.
• Follow standardized assessment procedures and conduct classroom observations.
• Document each child’s performance and assist with assessment feedback.
• Create a welcoming, engaging, and encouraging environment.
• Help children feel comfortable and confident throughout the assessment.
• Collaborate with the assessment team to ensure a smooth process.
