Job summary

Southern Nazarene University seeks adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate Pre-Law courses, including Introduction to Law, Constitutional Law, American State and Local Government, and Judicial Process. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in the legal field or Juris Doctor is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Commitment to SNU mission and Christian environment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses on assigned days and times
• Plan lessons that address learning outcomes
• Use technology to enhance instruction and assessment
• Design, administer, and grade assessments to measure student learning
• Gather course assignments for documentation to SNU councils or accreditation
• Maintain an accurate grade book in the LMS
• Maintain an attendance record
• Set up and use a Learning Management System site for assigned course(s)
• Administer a final exam on the Registrar’s schedule
• Submit final grades as requested by the Registrar
• Additional duties as assigned
