Job summary

YMCA of Greater Toledo is seeking a Part-Time Lifeguard for the East YMCA location. The role offers an hourly wage of $11.50 to $12.70 and requires availability for the Early Bird (5am-9am) and Daytime (9am-2pm) shifts, on site.

As a Lifeguard, you will ensure swimmer safety, monitor activity, and respond to emergencies with trained CPR, First Aid, AED, and oxygen administration. YMCA membership benefits and Paid Time Off are included to support your participation in the aquatics team.

Qualifications

• Lifeguarding Certification, CPR (Adult/Child/Infant), First Aid, Oxygen Administration and AED required.
• Must be able to swim 250 yards and demonstrate multiple swim strokes.
• Minimum age 15 years old.

Responsibilities

• Guard the pool area to keep swimmers safe and enforce pool rules.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and provide basic life support.
• Keep the pool area clean, organized, and safe for all members and guests.
• Support ongoing lifeguard training and certification upkeep.
