Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Pool Attendant to open, maintain, and close pool areas daily. The role requires excellent communication and guest service skills, with weekend shifts included.

You will restock towels, keep pool areas clean, bus tables and chairs, and set up poolside cabanas for guests. Must be able to work outdoors and stand for long periods, with open availability during spring break and summer.

What does the role entail?

Pool Attendants are responsible for ensuring the pool areas are properly opened, maintained and closed on a daily basis. Candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Position will include weekends.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Consistent restocking, delivery, and distribution of pool towels.
• Maintain overall presentation and cleanliness of the pool areas.
• Bussing pool chairs and tables of all dishes and trash.
• Set up poolside cabanas for guest.

Qualifications

Your experience:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Ability to push and pull heavy objects
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances
• Ability to work outdoors and under the Sun
• Must have open availability during Spring Break and Summer Season, including weekends and Holidays
• Must have a valid CA Food Handler Card.
• Must have a CA RBS Certificate.
