Commerce Casino seeks skilled table dealers to provide top-tier guest service, deal a variety of games, follow procedures, and maintain game integrity in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Candidates must have at least one year dealing experience or dealer school, a high school diploma, and strong English communication; training will be provided and overtime may be required during tournaments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Provides excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
2. Assists customers with any customer service requests, i.e., calling for Chip Attendant, Floor Attendant, or Supervisor.
3. Understands and is responsible for following company and departmental policies and procedures.
4. Deals all games in an effective and concise manner, with a minimum of 26.8 hands dealt per hour, pursuant to departmental dealing Procedures.
5. Follows collection procedures to ensure that collections are obtained and properly recorded.
6. When pushed, informs dealer next on rotation of information, which could affect gaming operation.
7. When entering game must greet players, ask for player cards, and keep Genesis system updated and correct.
8. Notifies Floor Attendant, Supervisor, or Shift Manager of any suspicious activity, discrepancies or mistakes in games that could disrupt the flow of the game or create a potentially hazardous condition.
9. Must have knowledge of and comply with BSA/AML policies and procedure.
10. Required to sit in forty (40) minutes at a time, for at least an eight (8) hour shift.
11. May be required lift up to fourteen (14) pounds for various job-related duties.
12. Must be able to work a full-time schedule during tournaments and other peak business periods.
13. Must be able to work overtime, as business needs require, with or without advance notice.
14. Must be able to hand shuffle, it is an essential function of this position.
15. Employee must be able to perform duties without wearing tinted glasses, as such can affect the integrity of the games.
16. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by Casino Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience Required:

• Minimum of one year of dealing experience or dealer school certificate.

Education:

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent certificate and/or one year dealing experience.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Successful completion of a dealer audition and in-house dealer training.
• Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.

SCHEDULED HOURS

Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
