Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) in Wilmington, NC seeks a compassionate Part-Time Podiatrist to join our mobile care team. This independent contractor role focuses on patient care with full administrative and logistical support provided by CMC.

Schedule includes 2 to 4 visits per month, Monday through Friday, typically 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Prior geriatric or mobile care experience is preferred. This position supports underserved communities with convenient on-site care.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Podiatrist to join our mobile care team in Wilmington, NC. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities.

All administrative and logistical responsibilities—including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing—are fully managed by CMC. This is an independent contractor position, allowing you to focus on patient care without the burdens of running a private practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine foot care, wound care, and treatment for diabetic-related complications.
• Diagnose and manage podiatric conditions commonly affecting geriatric patients.
• Educate patients and/or facility staff on preventive care and condition management.
• Ensure a respectful, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to geriatric needs.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
• Experience in geriatric or mobile care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settings.

Schedule:

• 2 to 4 visits per month
• Weekday availability (Monday-Friday)
• Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
