Job summary

A leading mental health organization is seeking part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) to provide care and treatment to clients. In this role, you will have the autonomy to make patient care decisions with the support of experienced clinicians. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing, board certification, and at least 12 months of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 12 months of experience post licensure in a psychiatric clinical setting.
• Master's degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Board Certification via ANCC or AANP.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders.
• Offer individual and group therapy to patients.
• Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary.

Skills

Minimum 12 months of experience post licensure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Electronic Health Record (EHR) Proficiency

Strong computer literacy

Education
