Job summary

Psycho Social Therapies in Norwalk, OH is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, assess residents, and manage medications in collaboration with psychiatry and other professionals.

Responsibilities include regular visits to long-term care facilities to ensure consistent, high-quality care and ongoing support for residents, families, and care teams.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Ohio.
• Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health NP or PA with ability to assess and prescribe with psychiatrist as per State Board regulations.
• Board Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for residents.
• Manage and prescribe medications as part of treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, implement, and assess treatment plans.
• Make regular visits to long-term care facilities to provide ongoing care.
