Qualifications

  • Diploma in Plumbing & Pipefitting Technology or related diploma/degree from an accredited institution or trade school.
  • GCILB unrestricted Master Plumber License or CBILB Journeyman Plumber.
  • Three (3) years out of the past seven (7) years of experience in the field.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Preferred: Associate degree in Plumbing & Pipefitting Technology or related field; direct teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for specified courses. (50%)
  • Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives. (5%)
  • Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports. (10%)
  • Maintains safety and security requirements in the training area. (5%)
  • Assists with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts. (5%)
  • Fulfils other duties as assigned to support the college’s programs. (5%)
