Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians in Des Moines, IA is seeking a part-time plastic surgeon to join a national wound physician group. You will provide bedside wound care in the post-acute setting, travel to facilities within a 40–60 mile radius, and participate in weekly wound rounds with support from fellows and trainers.

The role offers paid training, a flexible 45-hour work week for full-time equivalents, and a focus on clinical autonomy and balance with no nights or weekend duties.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted license (MD/DO) in the practice state.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in the post-acute setting across facilities.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Travel within a 40–60 mile radius visiting 2–3 facilities per day.
• Document care in real time using the proprietary wound EMR.
• Support onboarding with paid training and a wound care fellowship.
