Berea College Athletics in Berea, KY is seeking a part-time Assistant Baseball Coach (Pitching Coach) to assist the head coach in managing a NCAA Division III program. The ideal candidate will have collegiate coaching experience, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and a commitment to Berea College's mission and NCAA DIII philosophy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated successful coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required or must be maintained.
• Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and instruction to student-athletes participating in the program.
• Assist the head coach with administrative duties and program oversight as directed.
• Support the head coach; recruit new student-athletes within NCAA Division III guidelines.
• Support the academic progress of all team members.
• Demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship and conduct representative of Berea College Athletics.
• Maintain compliance with conference and national athletic rules.
• Assist with facility upkeep and maintenance.
• Attend meetings and ensure compliance with College policies.
• Mentor and develop a positive culture for student-athletes.
