marinelife in Juno Beach is looking for a dedicated Pier Attendant to manage daily pier operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintenance adherence. Candidates must have a High School Diploma and be proficient with POS systems. This part-time role involves maintaining the pier's cleanliness, assisting guests, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Work conditions include a dynamic outdoor environment, sometimes extending into evenings and weekends. A strong commitment to sustainability and ocean conservation is required.
As a member of the Juno Beach Pier team, the Pier Attendant is responsible for the general operations of the pier which includes performing preventive and routine maintenance tasks. In addition, the Pier Attendant will be required to manage cash transactions while providing exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for opening and closing the pier house with all deposit and opening/closing procedures followed strictly and consistently.

This position may involve working outdoors in Florida, often in hot and humid conditions, and at events that extend into evening and weekend hours. Must be willing and able to travel for off‑site programming and possess a valid driver’s license.
This is an hourly and non‑exempt, non‑essential part‑time position. The successful incumbent may be required to perform tasks beyond the scope of this job description as requested by the supervisor. This recruitment may be used to select candidates for additional open positions. It is our policy that all team members, including newly hired, transferred, and promoted team members, will be carefully monitored and evaluated for an initial introductory 3‑month period on the job. After satisfactory completion of the introductory evaluation, such team members will be evaluated on an annual basis.
