Job summary

Theuniversityunion in Sandusky, OH is seeking a part-time pickleball instructor to teach players of all levels, promote fitness and community engagement, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment for Sandusky Recreation programs.

You will lead both individual and group lessons, develop engaging drills, and manage class logistics with limited supervision, including schedule adherence and equipment setup.

Qualifications

• Prior experience playing pickleball (competitive experience preferred).
• Previous coaching or instructional experience in pickleball or similar sport.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group pickleball lessons for players of all ages and skill levels.
• Develop engaging lesson plans focused on skill development, strategy, and gameplay.
• Organize drills, clinics, and friendly competitions with constructive feedback.
• Maintain equipment and court setup as needed.
• Stay current on pickleball rules and teaching techniques.
• Maintain attendance and monies received; follow safety and recording procedures.
