Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun and nurturing piano instructor for our Montclair, NJ location at Modern Music Academy. This part-time role includes private lessons and small group sessions. You can set your availability within our open hours; preferred 1–2 days per week (6–12 hours).

Typical times are 2pm–8pm on weekdays and 10am–3pm on Saturdays. A degree in Music Education or Music Performance is preferred, with experience teaching children 5–10 and the ability to follow program lesson

Qualifications

• Degree in Music Education or Music Performance.
• Experience teaching children ages 5-10.
• Ability to pass routine background check.
• Ability to read and implement program lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Teach private one-on-one lessons and small group sessions.
• Set availability within open hours (1–2 days/week, 6–12 hours).
• Follow provided lesson plans and curriculum.
