The Physics Department at the University of Southern Maine is seeking part-time instructor applicants for the 2026–2027 Academic Year. We seek instructors to teach introductory and laboratory physics courses (PHY 114, PHY 116, PHY 101, PHY 102) and to manage full delivery, grading, and student meetings as needed.

Responsibilities include developing the course, teaching, assessing student performance, and meeting with students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics.
• Previous teaching experience at the university or college level is preferred but not required.
