Cal Poly Pomona’s Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer positions to teach lower-division courses and provide weekly office hours. Positions are filled as needed for Fall, Spring, and possibly Summer terms, based on enrollment and funding. Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree in Physics or a related field; a Ph.D.

is preferred. Prior college/university teaching experience and evidence of strong teaching are desirable.

• Ph.D. in Physics or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned lower division courses in the department's curriculum and provide weekly office hours based on teaching load.
• Assignments may include day, evening, and/or weekend courses.
