Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to join our healthcare team. The role supports therapists in helping patients recover from injuries or surgeries and requires clear communication and attention to detail.

You will prepare treatment areas and equipment, assist with therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, educate patients on exercises and proper use of equipment, and help with scheduling and records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or physical therapy preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Proficient in using medical equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
