Job summary

The University of North Florida’s Department of Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member. Assignments are on a semester-by-semester basis, non-tenure-earning, with duties including teaching courses and holding scheduled office hours.

Candidates must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and a current Florida PT license, plus clinical or academic PT experience. Preferred: post-professional doctorate and LMS teaching experience (Canvas).

Qualifications

• DPT required and licensed to practice in Florida.
• Clinical or academic physical therapy experience.
• Post-professional doctorate preferred in a related field.
• Experience teaching with Canvas LMS is preferred.
• Experience teaching graduate-level PT coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned course(s) in accordance with syllabus and schedule.
• Hold scheduled office hours as negotiated with program leadership.
