Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to administer modalities, supervise exercises and support patient care on Fridays through Sundays. The role includes helping with medical records and maintaining department appearance and equipment.

Eligible candidates are graduates of PTA program with PTA licensure in their practicing state and BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Therapy experience is preferred and a background in allied health is valued.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of PTA Program.
• Licensure: PTA License in the state of practice.
• Experience: Experience with therapy preferred.
• Certifications: BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Other: Must have knowledge or background in Allied Health field.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, exercises and procedures.
• Will also assist in: medical records, upkeep of department appearance and equipment, and provide any support help needed for improved Department functioning.
