Job summary

Therapeutic Associates Newberg Physical Therapy is hiring a part-time Physical Therapy Aide to join our team in Newberg, Oregon. Schedules are flexible and students pursuing a physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree are encouraged to apply.

You will support a patient-centered care team by assisting therapists, delivering excellent customer service to patients and coworkers, and helping with therapeutic modalities as allowed by state law.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in Exercise Science, Sports Performance and Fitness preferred for PT or pre-PT students.

Responsibilities

• Support a patient-centered team by assisting and taking direction from our Physical Therapists and/or Physical Therapist Assistants to provide great patient care.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, team members and customers.
• Implement knowledge of human physiology and physical therapy interventions.
• Conduct safe application of modalities and therapeutic procedures as allowed by state laws.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
