Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking a compassionate Part-time Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based physical therapy services within our Healthcare & Medical Services team. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans of care, and apply manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and function.

You will work closely with physicians, nurses and rehabilitation colleagues, documenting progress in the EMR and contributing to interdisciplinary rounds and quality

Qualifications

• Proficient in conducting musculoskeletal and neuromuscular assessments.
• Ability to develop individualized care plans and measurable goals.
• Competent in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed musculoskeletal and neuromuscular examinations.
• Establish measurable treatment goals and plans of care.
• Implement manual therapy and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Provide gait and balance training and patient education for home programs.
• Document evaluations, treatments and progress in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and rehab staff; participate in rounds and quality-improvement activities.
