Job summary

HEALTHCARE RECRUITMENT COUNSELORS in Toms River, NJ is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join a collaborative outpatient team. The role offers 2-3 days per week with a flexible schedule and the opportunity to deliver individualized patient care.

You will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, provide hands-on therapy, educate patients, and document progress in the EMR. New graduates are welcome and strong mentorship is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy License.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience is a plus, but not required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
• Provide hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and prescribed modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on their diagnosis, recovery, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience through compassionate, personalized care.
