Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to learn and use computer systems.
• Strong communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients of various ages; label specimens and assist in patient care.
• Check-in patients and verify information; process test orders in Epic and LIS per protocol.
• Instruct patients on urine, stool and other sample collections; process urine samples for drug screening.
• Prepare equipment and maintain lab area; stock supplies and inventory.
• Answer phones, maintain logs, create files, and enter orders in LIS.
