Responsibilities

• Assist laboratory staff in performing routine tests and phlebotomy tasks following protocols.
• Prepare and process specimens with proper labeling, storage, and transport.
• Maintain and troubleshoot basic laboratory equipment and inventory.
• Perform finger sticks, venipunctures, and heel sticks on patients of all ages.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and HIPAA compliance in all procedures.
• Document lab procedures and specimen information in LIS/EMR.
