Job summary

BioLife in Riverton, UT is seeking a truly part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support. This second-shift role requires availability for 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays, with advance notice of schedule changes.

You’ll greet donors, screen first-time and repeat donors, record vitals and finger stick results, maintain donor charts in the Donor Information System, coordinate donor compensation, and help identify opportunities to improve center processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand or walk for the shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays required.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Glove use due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors with a focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vitals and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System; prepare donor charts; maintain accurate records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and initiate changes per procedures.
• Work varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays to support donors.
