Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a part-time phlebotomist for a client site in Suttons Bay, MI. This 30-hour-per-week role requires scheduling Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and Wednesday 8:30am to 2:30pm.

You will perform phlebotomy, handle specimen processing, and ensure patient safety and quality control. We value teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or 1+ year phlebotomy experience in healthcare setting required or preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and lab specimen collections per age-related standards.
• Provides appropriate post-phlebotomy patient care and communicates results.
• Travels to additional sites when needed.
• Maintains safety, QA/QC records, and follows policies and procedures.
