Job summary

Labcorp in Tulsa, OK is hiring a Phlebotomist to collect blood samples from patients of all ages and document results accurately. The role requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy experience; certification is preferred. Work hours are Monday–Wednesday 9:30AM–6:00PM and Friday 9:00AM–1:00PM.

You may travel to additional sites as needed. You will provide courteous patient service, maintain logs, and support billing and clerical tasks while ensuring quality and safety in a busy diagnostic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 months or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Tulsa, OK. Work Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 9:30AM - 6:00PM & Friday 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 months or more of phlebotomy experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
