Pinehurst Medical Clinic in Pinehurst, North Carolina, is seeking a Phlebotomist responsible for drawing blood specimens and preparing lab paperwork. Essential duties include patient identification, specimen labeling, and ensuring lab sample integrity. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, complete phlebotomy training, and obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

The Phlebotomist draws blood specimens by either venipuncture or capillary method. Prepares lab related paperwork, including requisitions. Ensures that patient test samples are sent to the appropriate laboratory. Ensures that appropriate diagnosis codes accompany patient lab orders. Works under the direct supervision of MTs and MLTs.
Education (Including Licenses and Certifications):
Day Shift (Monday through Friday) – no weekends or holidays.
Hourly (Non-Exempt).
