Job summary

Labcorp in Greensboro, NC is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our team. Work schedule: Monday–Friday 9:00am–2:00pm.

You will perform blood collections, process specimens, enter data, and provide patient service while traveling to additional sites as needed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with preferred 1 year+ experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
