Performs phlebotomy tasks in a physician office setting, ensuring proper specimen collection and handling.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: Knowledge of medical laboratory practices, procedures, medical terminology, lab manuals, formularies, ICD-9, and reference lab procedures.
• Certification/Licensure: Required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within ninety days of starting; preferred certification from ASCP Board of Registry or equivalent.
