Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, is hiring a Part Time Pharmacy Technician in Columbus, NE. You will support the mental health pharmacy with dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under supervision.

Hours are 20 per week with potential to flex up to 40 depending on business needs. Onsite work required at 4321 41st Ave, Columbus, NE. Previous pharmacy experience and Nebraska license preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nebraska Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work onsite at 4321 41st Ave., Columbus, NE.
• Part-time availability: 20 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8:30am–5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• FIlls prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.

Part Time Pharmacy Technician

We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours

Part-time with 20 hours guaranteed weekly with potential to flex up to 40 hours weekly based on business need. Location hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm

Primary Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
