Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the retail pharmacy team. You will work under licensed pharmacist supervision, contributing to patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance while delivering exceptional patient care.

The role requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy, 0–3 years of experience, and the ability to maintain regular attendance, including weekends. Immunization eligibility and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy and active/in-process intern license.
• 0–3 years relevant work experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Must complete required training within state guidelines and timeframe.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
• Support patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and manage inventory/workflow (excluding final prescription verification).
• Lead with empathy and collaborate with the pharmacy team to improve patient outcomes.
