Job summary

Coastal Bend Wellness Pharmacy in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Staff Pharmacist for part-time coverage, with at least two Fridays and two Saturdays per month and potential PRN hours during the week. This role operates under VytlOne management at a coastal wellness site.

A TX Pharmacist license is required and the candidate should be able to work within a compassionate, community-focused team. The incumbent will interpret and fill prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with physicians,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Pharm.D. from an approved School of Pharmacy; TX Pharmacist License required.
• Must not have disciplines on TX BOP license; TX license must be current.
• One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders; provide patient information and counseling.
• Dispense prescriptions, compound, and prepare I.V. admixtures (if applicable).
• Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies and appropriateness.
• Maintain inventory and records of controlled drugs; supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Promote teamwork and participate in training and quality programs.
