Job summary

University of Rochester Medicine is seeking a Pharmacist to join a collaborative healthcare team. You will provide safe and timely medication therapy, partner with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes, and monitor patients with lab results to adjust therapies.

The role includes participating in immunizations, discharge planning, transplantation, wellness, and screenings, removing barriers to care, educating staff and patients, and supporting pharmacy quality and workflow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and less than one year of relevant ambulatory/community pharmacy experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy technicians and serve as charge pharmacist when scheduled.
