Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a licensed pharmacist to dispense medications and provide clinical consultations within a fast-paced environment. You will oversee support staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and travel between New Jersey satellite sites as required.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and hold licensure in Delaware or Pennsylvania. Strong communication, confidentiality, and MS Office skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

  • Requires BS or PharmD from an accredited school.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in Delaware and/or Pennsylvania as applicable.
  • Strong drug product and clinical knowledge required.
  • Excellent customer service skills essential.
  • Familiarity with formulary designs, prescription benefit trends, and prior authorization programs.
  • Must manage time effectively and communicate clearly.
  • Able to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with MS Office products.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Willingness to travel to New Jersey satellite locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Offer consultation and pharmacy services to patients.
  • Supervise Apotheco support staff.

Job description

Dispense prescribed medications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Provide direction related to quality, clinical, and compliance initiatives in accordance with state and federal laws
Provide consultation and other pharmacy services to patients
Supervise Apotheco support staff
Perform other functions reasonably assigned consistent with the role
Securely and appropriately handle Apotheco information and information received from customers, companies, and external parties
Travel between other New Jersey satellite locations as needed

Requirements
  • BS or Pharm D degree from an accredited pharmacy school
  • Licensed Pharmacist in Delaware and Pennsylvania, as applicable
  • Strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Familiarity with clinical program components, formulary designs, prescription benefit trends, and prior authorization programs
