Qualifications

• Experience with animals preferred; veterinary/animal care valued.
• Basic computer skills including practice management software and Office apps.
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and scheduling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with empathetic, professional service.
• Process check-ins/outs and liaise with hospital staff about patient status.
• Maintain client communications via phone, email, and mail.
• Schedule, confirm, and forward appointments; triage based on urgency.
• Explain services, vaccinations, diagnostics, and aftercare to clients.
• Handle sensitive situations with tact; maintain patient records and finances.
• Assist with payments, refunds, and Care Credit transactions.
• Fill prescriptions and advise clients; assist with product sales and inventory.
• Support veterinarians and staff; keep the hospital clean and safe.
• Participate in opening/closing and weekend duties.
