Job summary

Exos Partners, LLC is seeking a Substitute Performance Coach for a corporate fitness center in Riverwoods, IL. This part-time role focuses on supervising safety, leading group classes, and delivering personalized training designed for a diverse clientele, including high-risk individuals.

You will also perform one-on-one sessions, fitness assessments, and help implement incentive and health-promotion programs while supporting daily facility operations and covering shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification from NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE (or equivalent) is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Proven experience in leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for all fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans for a wide range of clients, including high-risk populations.
• Offer one-on-one consultations, personalized training, and motivation to help clients succeed.
• Assist with incentive programs, health promotion, and other specialty programs to drive engagement.
• Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
• Assist with additional duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Have availability to pick up shifts on an as-needed basis.
