B Amazing Music in Winter Garden and Windermere is seeking a part-time in-person music teacher who can cover percussion and piano. Teaching happens in students' homes, with flexible weekday/weekend hours. Training is provided and no music degree is required, as passion and connection with students matter most.

Starting pay is $28/hour, with full office support handling client acquisition, scheduling, and billing so you can focus on teaching. Ideal for teachers who balance other commitments.

Qualifications

• Intermediate/advanced percussion skills, with ability to teach on drum pad and drum kit.
• Background in piano sufficient to teach beginning piano students.
• Strong knowledge of music theory up to mid-to-late intermediate level, incl. intervals, scales, chord progressions.

Responsibilities

• Teach percussion and beginner piano in students' homes in Winter Garden/Windermere.
• Adapt lessons to multiple instruments for siblings in a single visit.
• Provide engaging, structured lessons and track student progress.

B Amazing Music is a busy, family-owned company that teaches lessons in students' homes. Many of our families have children who study more than one instrument, so we're looking for teachers who play percussion and also have a background in piano. Picture teaching drum kit to one sibling and piano to the other, all in one visit!

Who We’re Looking For

• Intermediate/advanced percussion skills, with the ability to play and teach on both drum pad and drum kit
• Enough piano background to confidently teach beginning piano students
• Strong knowledge of music theory through at least the mid-to-late intermediate level, including general music terms, intervals, key signature recognition, scales, chord progressions and chord inversion identification
• Ability to read sheet music, including percussion notation (required)

You don't need a music degree or performance-level skills. Some of our very best teachers aren't our best musicians. What matters most is your passion for teaching and your connection with students.

Training Provided

Teaching experience is a plus but not required. We'll train you in our teaching method through shadowing experienced teachers, hands-on practice and our teacher manual.
