Akumin Inc. seeks a Radiation Therapist at our fixed-site Boston Medical Center South Radiation Oncology Center to deliver precise radiation treatment per prescription, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

You will perform patient simulations, document treatments, participate in QA, and communicate with patients and the care team. This part-time position emphasizes accuracy, compassion, and teamwork in a busy oncology setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or College/Technical Certification in ARRT Accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• ARRT (T) certification.
• State licensure, if applicable.
• CPR Certification.
• One year minimum experience as Radiation Therapist.

Responsabilités

• Delivers radiation treatment according to prescription and plan.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Performs patient simulations and records treatment data in EMR.
• Maintains QA routines and reports deviations to the team.
• Communicates treatment procedures and addresses patient questions.
• Assists in overall treatment-related processes, including transport and chart review.
