Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA is hiring Part-Time Associate Chaplains to provide spiritual care to patients, families, and staff across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

As a member of the spiritual health team, you will implement the facility’s mission and policies while collaborating with the care team to support whole-person care in a compassionate, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• 2 Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) units.
• Graduate studies of 32–48 credit hours in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry, or equivalent education.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• National Chaplain Certification within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional spiritual care ministry for patients, families, and staff across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Implement the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient-centered, whole-person care built on respect.
