Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a part-time Peer Specialist for Community Crisis Stabilization in Massachusetts. The role involves helping individuals engage with CCS services, supporting recovery goals, and coordinating peer-led activities within the program.

Responsibilities include advocacy, assisting in navigation of services, and leading peer-support groups to promote resiliency. Schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, 16 hours weekly, with pay at $21.21 per hour plus CPS and CARC

Responsibilities

• Assists individuals in learning to understand the benefits and challenges of their mental health condition
• Guides individuals through their recovery process by explaining stages of recovery and the role of the recovery specialist
• Provides advocacy, support, and education during screening, assessment and transition processes across CCS services
• Coordinates and leads informal groups related to peer-support, recovery, resiliency and resources
