Job summary

The Department of Pediatrics at the Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center seeks a Pediatrician, Family Medicine Physician, or Advanced Practice Nurse to join the Child Protection Team. The role covers evaluation of maltreatment across ED, inpatient and outpatient settings with teaching responsibilities.

We prefer BC/BE in Child Abuse Pediatrics; Massachusetts medical license eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Child Abuse Pediatrics preferred.
• MD/DO must be BC/BE in Pediatrics and eligible for Massachusetts medical license.
• Fluency in languages other than English is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in emergency, inpatient and outpatient settings at BMC.
• Evaluate patients in Foster Care Clinic and Child Protection Team outpatient clinic.
• Provide phone consultation to multidisciplinary team across the health system.
• Teach medical students, residents and other learners.
