Job summary

Urban Health Plan is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse to join our family health centers in the Bronx, NY. Regular 2-3 shifts weekly are required for pediatric-focused care in a patient-centered practice.

As an RN you will triage, administer vaccines, document health records, and collaborate with a care team in a fast-paced environment. Onsite work with compensation of $54.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• NYS Registered Professional Nurse, required.
• 1–2 years of pediatric nursing experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Excellent communication, compassion and teamwork.
• Experience with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and assess needs based on acuity.
• Provide nursing care and administer medications/vaccines.
• Monitor patient reactions and side-effects.
• Assist with pre-visit planning for high-risk patients.
• Ensure implementation of plans of care.
• Maintain health records and update patient profiles.
• Assist with ordering supplies and equipment.
