Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support a preschool student with complex medical needs in a school setting. The role involves 1:1 care, including G-tube, trach, and ventilator support, with afternoon hours from Tuesday through Friday.

Responsibilities include accompanying the student home after school, providing in-school care on campus, and communicating care observations to families and school staff. A current IL RN license and active credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license required
• Experience with G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care preferred
• Critical care background preferred
• Active license/certification and current resume required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and school staff

Responsibilities

• Meet the student at home each school day at approximately 12:30 PM
• Safely accompany and monitor the student during bus transport to and from school
• Deliver attentive 1:1 medical support on campus for ongoing health and comfort
• Communicate regularly with families and educational staff regarding care needs
• Maintain meticulous records and manage interventions related to G-tube, trach, and ventilator care
