Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a part-time Pediatric Nephrologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to join a collaborative division. The role blends inpatient duties with outpatient clinics and potential leadership paths in dialysis or kidney transplantation.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree.
• MD or DO with Michigan Medical License.
• BE/BC in Pediatric Nephrology is required or where available.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.

Responsibilities

• Full-time clinical role with inpatient and consult coverage every fourth week.
• 5–6 half-day clinics per week when not on inpatient service.
• Opportunities for outreach clinics and telemedicine.
• Work within a multidisciplinary care model with nurses, coordinators, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists, and researchers.
• Access to advanced nephrology therapies including dialysis, CRRT, plasmapheresis, and transplantation.
