42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA (near Boston). The role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to provide comprehensive pediatric care within a multi-specialty practice.

The ideal candidate holds a DDS/DMD, is board eligible or certified in pediatric dentistry, and has a current license to practice in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Massachusetts dental license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases in pediatric patients.
• Educate patients and families on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients and families.
• Maintain accurate dental records and medical history for patients.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain highest standard of care and professionalism in the office.
• Pursue ongoing education to stay current with advances in pediatric dentistry.
